Naming Your MLM Business

The name of your website can be the key to a large amount of traffic if you choose wisely. Brainstorm to figure out who your targeted prospects will be. For example, will you go for network marketers, work from home, mlm marketers? You must answer this question first before preceding to the next step.

Next involves keyword research for your chosen targets. For example, say you will target network marketers. Pick one or two keyword phrases which involve your marketers. Say you choose the keywords “network marketing success” or “learn network marketing” then you would use your research tool to see how many searches per month are performed for that keyword. It will be tempting to pick a keyword which has one million searches per month, but do not do that. Everyone else is also trying for that keyword and the competition is fierce. The odds for you obtaining first page rankings for such

a keyword is almost zero. I personally always pick a phrase which is searched for about 15-30,000 times a month.

When you are also researching keywords, don’t forget to type your chosen

phrase in Google’s search bar. Look up in the right hand corner to see how many other thousands or millions have that particular keyword phrase. This will give you an idea of your competition when trying to increase your page rank.

Now the important part is here which involves picking your actual domain name. If we continue to use the above example “network marketing success” then I will try to get that as my domain name. Hopefully my domain would read networkmarketingsuccess.com.

If that one wasn’t available, then I would look for a .net with that domain name. If I am still having trouble, next I would use hyphens to separate the three key words like this network-marketing-success.com or network-marketingsuccess.com or .net. Always try to include one of your keyword phrases in your domain name. This will definitely increase your ranking ten fold. Remember search engines like to be as concise as possible when someone types in a search. You can not get more precise than having that particular keyword in your domain name.

Now that you have intelligently selected your new domain name for your business, now comes the hardest part of all. Getting it ranked in the search engines without spending thousands of dollars. Seo optimization services are quite costly and usually beyond someone just starting out, but do not worry, there are many ways to increase your page rank with out the lavish fees.

Mlm training is the most important step when starting your business. Without the knoweledge or a top notch mlm system you are sure to fail.
